The Research Of Pianpuzi Culture And Beigou Culture

This articile is an attempt study on Pianpuzi Culture,Beigou Culture and therelationship of this two culture,starting from the excavated material.First,the article re-define the Pianpuzi Culture and Beigou Culture.And on thebasis of this,Pianpuzi Culture is categorised into Xialiaohe Type and LiaodongPeninsula Type. And the remains of Pianpuzi Culture which are situated on the area ofSouthern Liaodong and Northern Liaodong is divided into early period,medium periodand later period.Then the thesis explains the age is equal to Banpo â…£.The mediumperiod and later period are earlier than Upper Xiaozhushan Culture,in about2500BC-3000Bc.Through analysing the remains of Shifoshan Site,the part which does not belongto Beigou Culture is removed.On this basis,Beigou culture is divided into earlyperiod,medium period and later period.The age of Beigou Culture is in2500BC-2000BC,through analysing the relics relationship,pottery comparison and C14results.Finally, the articile proves that Beigou Culture is latter than Pianpuzi Culturethrough analysing age connection,pottery combination,pottery sculpture and typicalpottery comparison.This two culture have a clear relationship between inherited. Thisinherited relations show that Beigou Culture is the successor of Pianpuzi Culture,andthis two culture belong to the same culture system.
