“Lu Xun Tradition” contains complex contents of history and culture, which exists adouble construction between the official and intellectuals. It can’t be ignored that Lu Xun’sdiscourse interpretation plays an important part in Lu Xun’s research history in the20thcentury. After the Cultural Revolution, Cultural craze began to rise in the1980s.At thesame time, Lu Xun Rush is most noticeable. As a part of the80thCultural craze, Lu XunRush is actually the spiritual resource that the humanistic intellectuals provide forcultural enlightenment in the1980s.In the80th Cultural craze,“Humanistic Lu XunTradition” constructed by the intellectuals began to separate from the “Official Lu XunTradition”, and the intellectuals tried to construct the independent humanistic ideology bythe interpretation of Lu Xun. This thesis makes a study of Lu Xun Rush in the80thCultural craze by the way of combining Lu Xun Rush in the1980s, and investigates theprocess of Lu Xun’s discourse interpretation. In addition, on the basis of Lu Xun’sdiscourse interpretation in the80thCultural craze, this thesis investigates the reasons forthe decline of Lu Xun Rush under the new context in the1990s. Out of the pure academiclevel, this thesis tries to discuss the evolution of “Lu Xun Tradition” in the1980s on thewhole cultural and history level. At the same time, we can find out the complexrelationship between the state ideology and the intellectuals and the reasons of the declineof Humanistic Lu Xun Tradition.
