The industry of Visual Effects (VFX) is very developed nowadays and has become very successful especially in the USA, Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, China, etc. Amazing effects are not only seen in many Hollywood’s, but also in many TV advertisements, video game productions, etc. But what really happens behind the scene to achieve such astonishing results is still a big mystery to many. Moreover, in countries where the VFX is not developed such as many African countries, invest in this industry can be a risky endeavor, especially with limited financial, human, or technical resources. To offer a better understanding on how the VFX studios operate and to propose a simple yet effective methodology for African entrepreneurs to step in this challenging and competitive industry, this thesis first evaluate problems that prevent the continent to develop in this area and then propose in second place a management system that can fit the need and requirements of the African VFX market. This methodology combines the exploitation of the limited resources presented in place with the cooperation with some Chinese VFX companies which would provide quick and rather cheap outsourcing services compared to western VFX studios which are often expensive in order to complete all the tasks required for any given VFX project. The cooperation between Chinese and African VFX studios which is proposed in this thesis goes beyond the scope of just offering VFX services, but also propose an exchange program plan such as training or internship for both sides in order to make the cooperation much productive end effective.
