The history of the system has always been valued by historians, so many historical researchers devote a lot of effort to studying military system for itself practical application. There is a direct relationship between Chinese ancient dynasties and the military power that emperor family holds. When the new dynasty was established, the private armies gradually begin to cover the national character,while the contradiction between the independence of the imperial power and the openness of the new regime starts to appear. In order to maintain political stability and the safety of their own, the emperor needs a loyal military power without government intervention.The Tang Dynasty has perfected imperial military system,since the Han dynasty.It also has its own unique. There is a direct relationship between the characteristics of Tang Dynasty imperial military development and Tang imperial city geographical space. A branch of imperial military is named Beiya because they guard the important area in the north gate of the imperial city.The LongWuArmy is born out of the Baiji army which is a branch of RoyalArmy.It developed a strong military from Qianji to Wanji. The LongWuArmy is established in the AD738,and the system is gradually improved. In addition to a general discussion of the LongWuArmy, the author also traces the origin of LongWuArmy development, expores the relationship between the LongWuArmy and political core,and researches the change of soldiers’ identity in the LongWuArmy.
