The Research On CPC’s Cadre Education In Guangdong Southernuniversity During Early Period Of Being In Power (1949-1952)

The cadre education is a kind of social activity，which the ruling party tomeet the the social need, in cadres education and training. A part of the CommunistParty of China’s cadre education is the Party cadres work, but also a part of the Partyof education, is the organic unity of Party cadres work closely and educational work.Guangdong is the region where been later liberated and ruled Kuomintang forlong time, the problem such as the lack of cadres number and low politicalconsciousness highlight, affects Guangdong’s stability and unity and the socialismconstruction development smoothly directly. Southern University was a new cadreeducation school,established with Guangzhou liberation. It carry out the work ofcadre education vigorously under the guidance of Mao Zedong’s cadre educationthinking, occupies an important position in the history of Party’s cadre education. Ithad trained nearly twenty thousand revolutionary cadres and professional personnels,they all became the backbone of Guangdong’s development and construction, laid thefoundation for Guangdong’s revolution and construction.Through the research of Southren University, we can see the CPC’s efforts andachievements in Guangdong cadre education in early founding of PRC, and it reflectsthe times characteristics about cadre education schools emphasize on the culturalbusiness education in the era of peace, but on the political education in the era of war.At the same time, we can see the achievements and shortcomings in CPC’s rulingtimes, and for useful discussions on the current cadres educational development.
