The development of internet in modern society, not only changed the ways ofinformation transmission and exchange between people, but also from changedproductive and living habits of human from all aspects, affect the whole organizationalstructure of society and the conformation of economic systems. With the popularity ofinternet, the E-commerce gradually deepened people’s lives, bring huge businessopportunities and convenience to people at the same time. In recent years, theE-commerce of China has showed a good momentum of sustained and rapidevolvement, and played an important role in all fields of human’s lives. As the part ofE-commerce which is most close to our life, once online shopping appeared it got theacceptance and love of the public, and continuously derive a variety of new forms. As anew kind of online shopping, the group-buying conforms to modern youths who havethe mentality of pursuing convenient and affordable shopping experience. And itquickly catch people’s attention on E-commerce. However, various problems whichcannot be ignored followed. Since the legislative lag, the regulatory deficiency, as wellas the lack of credibility issues, lead to the frequent tort incidents in the onlinegroup-buying. The dissensions in the online group purchase become more complicated,because it involves not only the traditional commodity trading issues, but also thedifficulties of the E-commerce disputes.The article concentrate on the online group-buying phenomenon, and combined withthe legal present situation of China to analyze the behavior against the interests ofconsumers online group-buying. At the same time, I refer to the foreign legislativeexperience to make some suggestions on improving online group-buying consumerrights protection in China. This article is divided into three parts to elaborate on thetheme of consumer right protection in online group-buying: The first part is about thesummary of group-buying, it study on the meaning, features, forms and the legalrelationships in the online group-buying, and later it re-examining the popularity ofgroup-buying. The second part then analyze the present situation of protection ongroup-buying consumers’ right, it focus on tort to consumer rights in onlinegroup-buying in our life and the reasons of its appearance, and combine it with ourcurrent legislation, to find the deficiency in legal regulation on group-buying in ourcountry. The third part mainly make some suggestions on improving group-buying consumers’ rights, which are about legislation on Electronic Commerce, informationdisclosure, the security of transactions, dispute resolution and supervision overgroup-buying market. What’s more, it draw lessons from foreign experiences and hopeto benefit the legislation of our country.
