The Research To The People’s Livelihood Issues Under The Sight Of A Harmonious Society

People’s livelihood is a basic question of human’s survival and development, which is not only related to the broad masses’ most concerned, direct and practical interests, but also affects the overall situation of reform and development of the whole country. It is the most important task of our party and government. At beginning of the new age, party central committee was based on the situation of the party、nation、world and proposed a strategic goal of building a harmonious socialist society, which adapted to the objective requirements of building a moderately prosperous society and reflected the fundamental interests and common aspirations of the broad masses of the people. In the process of building a harmonious society, protecting and improving the people’s livelihood should be always given top priority and treated as a core issue. As long as improving the people’s livelihood the better, the society will become the more harmonious. Therefore, the research of how to solve the livelihood issues in the process of building a harmonious socialist society has important theoretical value, which is not only to expand and deepen the study of the theory of building a harmonious socialist society, but also to advance the process of building a harmonious socialist society.In this paper, it is from the view of building a harmonious socialist society to look at the significance of improving the people’s livelihood, which emphases at the level of applied research to discuss the path selection of how to improve the people’s livelihood and advance the construction of harmonious society. Livelihood issues are highly concerned by the party and the government, which is not just in the process of building a harmonious socialist society today, but actually is a consistent fine tradition of CPC. Therefore, firstly, this paper briefly discusses the thinking of traditional culture and the concept of Marxism to the people’s livelihood and analyses the historical evolution of the thinking of the party of four generations of central collective leadership with China. Then it analyses the present situation of the people’s livelihood issues in the socialist harmonious society and the causes. On this basis, it points out the internal connection between the livelihood problems and harmonious society. Meanwhile, it from the multi-angle analyses the significance of improving the people’s livelihood to build a harmonious society. Finally, this paper, from the background of building a harmonious socialist society, tries to propose a path of selection of improving the people’s livelihood and advancing the construction of harmonious society. It focuses on the education, employment, income distribution, health care, social security and other key areas of systemic elaborated.In short, building a harmonious socialist society should be from the perspective of history to look at today’s livelihood issues, from a development perspective to solve a comprehensive upgrade of the people’s livelihood issues. Only the livelihood of the people is concerned, it can be aroused people’s attention and only in this way the people’s livelihood can be effectively protected.Only on the basis of people’s livelihood protected, the harmonious society can be built better.
