| This dissertation consists of three parts:preface, main content and conclusion.The preface points out the motivation and significance, then summarizes domestic and overseas research points of views, later brings forward the methods, as well as the points of focus difficulty an innovation.The first chapter discusses the first cause of the outbreak of the crisis in the Taiwan Strait Which mainly dealt with the background and process of the transformation of the U.S. policy toward Taiwan after the outbreak of the Korean War, the United States sent the Seventh Fleet to the Taiwan Strait, obstruction of the Chinese Communists to liberate Taiwan, while strengthening collusion with Chiang Kai-shek in Taiwan, Chiang Kai-shek regime "retake the mainland" policy support Faced with such a situation, the Chinese Communist Party began actively preparing to try with the shelling of Kinmen reached warning the cooperation between the United States and Taiwan.The second chapter discusses the first Taiwan Strait crisis, the process and its results.
