The Research Of Chinese Characteristic Social Welfare Thought

The social welfare system is to ensure and improve the livelihood of the people for thepurpose of social system, which is an important strategic position in the social development withthe focus of people’s livelihood. Report of the Seventeenth Party Congress pointed out:“Societyconstruction must be based on economic construction, to ensure and improve people’s livelihood,expand public services, promote social fairness and justice, and strive to make all the people toeducation, workers with income, medical services, a sense of security, and housing, promotingthe building of a harmonious society.” Social welfare as a huimin policy is closely related toconstruction of people’s livelihood and the construction of harmonious society. About how tobetter build Chinese welfare society, scholars have mostly a study from the aspect of the system,or advocating learn from the experience of construction of west social welfare, and whom arelack of understanding to our country social welfare thought core ideas, and deep research.The development of Chinese characteristic social welfare thought is closely linked to theparty’s ruling idea and practice. From the date of birth, the Chinese Communist Party put to ofachieve the broad masses of the people’s liberation and benefits as his political pursuit, andalways adhere to the " people’s interests above everything else", fight for the right of people’ssocial security. In the new democratic construction, the socialist revolution and socialistmodernization construction practice, Chinese Communist Party put forward a series of socialwelfare thought in line with China’s national conditions. On the basis of analysisof the social welfare of the general theory, the connotation ofMarx’s social welfare thought, put forward and unscramble the" China special welfare society"and “Chinese characteristic social welfare thought” concept. In Marx’s social welfare thoughtfoundation, combined with our country social welfare system in specific practice, summed up themain content of Chinese characteristic social welfare thought, extracted the core idea of Chinesecharacteristic social welfare thought, mined the contemporary value of Chinese characteristicsocial welfare though，which provide a theoretical reference in the coordinating relationship ofeconomy construction and social welfare building for the future of our country.
