Mongolian Shaman Ritual Symbol And Structure Research

This thesis is based the Horqin Shaman and the Buryat Shaman ceremony as the starting point, the use of ethnographic fieldwork-based, combined with literature data, system elaborated the dual shaman become a shaman in the traditional ceremony. This paper tries to use the symbol of anthropological theories and methods, especially with " Rites de Passage " theory to analyze Ceremonies of Shaman presented in time and space and instruments used symbolism to do elaborate on that. Ceremony as the main carrier of the faith, not only embodies the faith of the people, but also carries the complex symbolism. The first chapter, on the field investigation and related to this paper several shaman has made the detailed introduction, simply describes the present situation of Mongolian shaman and appropriate elaborated the related views. The second chapter, a detailed description of the process of Horqin shaman and Buryat shaman ceremony. The third Chapter, the use of anthropological ritual theory of Mongolian shaman ceremony made a theoretical analysis, the representative ceremony time, space, etc. The symbolism of the interpretation, and from the locals lifestyle and attitude toward nature perspective, the symbolism and the symbolic connotation of cultural interpretation, which reveals the symbol of the deep cultural connotation.
