In recent years, the Market Economy Status of China has been recognized by all the countries in the world gradually. However, the current subsidy system on export enterprises in our country has not yet fully complied with the requirements of WTO multi-trade rules. Upon the definition of the market economy status, the risk that our export products will be subject to anti-dumping sanction has been greatly reduced, but meanwhile, the probability that our export products will be subject to countervailing sanction has increased considerably. The problem of our country to be resolved in urgent is to fully understand "Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures" of WTO, make a comparison, perfect our subsidy system and make it combined with the multilateral trading system. With the growing international financial crisis and the rising of trade protectionism, China will be confronted with more severe countervailing situations, for which our government and enterprises shall make active responses to the countervailing accusations from abroad, and fully express our suggestions at the Doha Round Negotiations, to maintain our foreign trade interests in a better way.
