From a marketing perspective, the fundamental characteristic of Internet is its two-sided marketing factor. Because of this factor, the competition is different from the one within unilateral market. The characteristic has an impact on the participants, approaches as well as the results of competition. The application of the "Anti-unfair Competition Law" started from1993while the commercialization of the Internet started one year later from1994, which means the law is incapable to regulate the competition of participants with the availability of Internet. This factor contributes to the amendment of the law.The breakthrough this article tries to show lies in:based on two-sides markets theory, it suggests that the technical features of Internet will influence its economic and social characteristics. Based on this, the author will analyze the profound impact of the Internet on participants, approaches and the results of competition. Furthermore, the author is aiming to uncover the incapacities of the previous law in an Internet-dominating era. Hopefully by analyzing and learning from foreign experience, the author will propose some constructive idea to the amendment and improvement of the "Anti-unfair Competition Law"...
