A Research On Constitutional Reforms During Museveni’s Presidential Term In Uganda

Uganda is known as the continent of Africa a shining pearl. And the result ofUganda constitutional reform in the continent of Africa is also wonderful. WhenUganda constitutional reforms are going on, most of the Africa countries are returningto elected government. Uganda people overthrow the regime of the Amin’sgovernment. Museveni is actively developing the economy and reformingconstitutional as a president. As a president, he takes a series of policy, such as,making new constitution, national referendum and so on. These policy were makesUganda domestic stability and developing the economy. Den Xiaoping said, weevaluated political system good or bad, have three key words, at first, we must knowhow domestic stability in this country, the second, whether improving the peopleliving standers, the third, whether adapting to the development of productive forces.So we should know Uganda constitutional reform is successful.Uganda constitutional reform is working hardly, however they have done. WhenMuseveni takes president in1986, Uganda always use no-party system for sever years.However, Uganda makes national referendum in2005.Most of Uganda people hopesadmit to found party.My paper is focus on Museveni’s presidency. Especially constitutional reformtakes influence.
