In modern society, with the high-tech development and social progress, people’srang of activities is growing and thus, More and more people suffer from multiplecauses of complex infringement. Such situation often happens that several personswithout joint intention are bound together and cause the victim personal injury orproperty loss. It is called the tort committed by several persons without meaningconnection by most scholars. Because of its complexity, there are many disputes onits concept, requirements, classifications and the bearing of responsibilities in boththeoretical and practical circles. To definite the tort committed by several personswithout meaning connection scientifically and clear the responsibilities are thepurpose of this paper.This paper consists of three parts, namely the introduction, the main body andthe conclusion. The main body consists three chapters.In chapter one, the author give an overview on the tort committed by severalpersons without meaning connection, mainly discuss its concept and requirements.In chapter two, the author compares the tort committed by several personswithout meaning connection with the joint tort and joint dangerous.Chapter three is the key part of the paper. The author mainly discusses theclassifications and the bearing of responsibilities of the tort committed by several persons without meaning connection. Firstly, the author agrees that “causal relation”is the standard of the classification, which classifies the tort committed by severalpersons without meaning connection into the types of the cumulative causes andcombined causes. Then, the author analyzes the legislations about the tort committedby several persons without meaning connection in common law system, civil lawsystem and in our country, and discusses the differences of these countries. At last,the author analyzes the bearing of responsibility for different causality patterns...
