Food is the most basic human material life protection for human survival anddevelopment, food safety related to the quality of life of ordinary people, and evenhealth and life. With the increasing levels of productivity, the growing number ofscience and technology is applied to the field of food production, various food safetyissues also will appear in an increasingly globalized economy and the growing trend ofinternational food trade. Emerging food safety incidents in recent years, making theentire community into a panic state. what food is safe? People can not help but shudderwhen mentioned food safety, food safety issues have become one of the main threatendangering for public health. With the growing seriousness of the problem of foodsafety, governments attach great importance to food safety issues, they develop somelaws on food safety according to their own national conditions. In recent years, China’seconomy is in rapid development, food safety issues has occurred frequently, becominga major social issue in our country. The food safety problems not only affect the healthand lives of the people, but also affect the stability and order of the country. Therefore,from a legal point of view, whether it is to maintain the life and health of the people, orthe maintenance of a stable social order, or punishing criminals, accurate positioning isnecessary for food security-related crimes in the law. Crime of food safety isincreasingly rampant, the criminal law as a last line of defense to punish crimes, it isnecessary to make accurate provision of food safety crimes.The paper is divided into four sections of the criminal regulation of food safetyabout our country.
