Research On The Criminal Regulation Of Food Safety

In recent years, there were frequent food safety crimes in China, which had caused great panic in society,and great loss and damage to both individual and the whole country. Faced with such severe situation, the state attached great importance to food security, promulgate the "food safety law of the People’s Republic of China" on June1,2009. The "Food safety law", played a positive role in the food industry, and effective improved the overall level of food safety in China. Food safety cases, however, still keep rising, China’s food safety problem has not been fundamentally solved. How to regulate and protect the food safety has became a hot focus and problem needs to be solved.This article will deep into the above issue from the perspective of criminal law regulation to describe the current situation of food safety, analyze the conduct process of criminal law regulation, so as to point out its defects and the necessity to strengthen the regulation. On that basis, research on these two problems to perfect the system, and make contribution to realize the China dream of constructing a civil and prosperous country and a harmonious society.
