Research On The Reform Of Transportation Administrative Agency Of Zhuhai

Transportation is the basic industry of national economic development.With therapid development of China cities,external influences on other industries and urbandevelopment from transportation has become increasingly prominent.With lowefficiency of urban public transport and serious exhaust pollution,traffic congestion isbecoming a nightmare for urban office worker.This phenomenon has a tendency tospread to small and medium scale cities.Zhuhai is a medium scale city with beautifulseaside and pleasant living environment located in southern China.But with theincreasing economic and living standards and the rapid growth of car ownership, urbantransportation issues are becoming increasingly prominent,especially downtown trafficcongestion has emerged.How to optimize the existing administrative agency setting oftransportation to improve the positive externality of transportation has become aproblem and all city government including Zhuhai are eager to solve.This paperattempts to analyze and summarize the existing inadequacies of transportationadministrative agency settings of Zhuhai, and takerelevant experience and lessons of domestic and international as reference,propose a series suggestion of transportation administrative agency restructure which issuitable for Zhuhai.
