NCO Academies Campus Culture Construction Research

Campus culture is the soul of the construction and development of a school. For a military academy, campus culture means a long-term accumulation and creation. It is an effective carrier for the overall quality training of cadets. NCO Academies are an important part of military academies. Relatively speaking, they are lower in training-level, shorter in history and lack of resources support. Thus, although they have made unremitting exploration and accumulated a lot of valuable experience, their theoretical researches in campus culture are still not professional or systemic. Through researching the characteristics, structure and functions of NCO Academies campus culture, to find the solutions to infiltrate campus culture into combat effectiveness cultivating, has great significance for improving NCO Academies’ soft power and training qualified non-commissioned officers that can fight battles.This article attempt to analyze the concepts, characteristics, structure and functions of NCO Academies campus culture, reveal the situation and challenges of NCO Academies campus culture construction and explore NCO Academies campus culture construction principles, ideas and paths. There are mainly four parts in this article. The first part mainly studies the concepts about NCO Academies campus culture and define the rationality of this article; the second mainly studies the characteristics, structure and functions of NCO Academies campus culture; the third studies the situation and challenges of NCO Academies campus culture construction. The last studies the countermeasures of NCO Academies campus culture construction. Innovation of this paper is that, first, to offer practical solutions for NCO Academies campus culture construction by comparing military to civil schools, campus culture construction theories to practice. Second is to develop a long-term mechanism of NCO Academies campus culture construction, which is of far-reaching significance for the whole society, from the perspective of the concern of Maxims on the survival and development of human beings.
