Guangzhou public security problems have been one of the issues the people mostconcern about and most strongly reflect on. To improve social management is the key tosolve the security problems, and to build a stereoscopic public order prevention andcontrol system is the key to improve social management. Facing the dynamic securitysituation caused by dynamic social environment, how to advance the stereoscopicpublic order prevention and control system of Guangzhou with the backing ofinformation technology, to achieve active control, to prevent crimes, and to create aharmonious and stable social security environment, have become great concerned ofGuangzhou public security organs. Guangzhou police have been committed to build thesocial security prevention and control system, and constantly strive to improve theGuangzhou people’s sense of security and satisfaction. In recent years, through constantinnovation, Guangzhou police has built up a relatively perfect dynamic urban socialsecurity prevention and control system. In this paper, the author analyses theGuangzhou construction achievements and problems of the current social securityprotection system comprehensively, to study and discuss the measures of furtheradvancing the construction of Guangzhou public security control system by takingexamples of two foreign countries, the United Kingdom and Australia, and twodomestic cities, Zhongshan of Guangdong and Qingdao of Shandong, which are both atthe forefront of the reform and opening-up. The paper puts forward the patterns ofvigorously promoting the Guangzhou public security information technology basicwork with the concept of police affairs led by intelligence information, in an attempt toprovide new ideas and realization approach in the specific operation for the constructionof Guangzhou social security protection system.
