Pu'er Mineral Resources Spatial Database Design

Mineral Resources are an important material base of social economic development.It is an important task that the. Effectivily sientificly and storage management of the mineral resources information. With the appearance and development of GIS technology, it provides an important train of mineral resource data information management. At the request of pu ’er city related department, I set up a region of space database of mineral resources, I set up a mineral resources database system based on the space database.It is the foundation of the mineral resources data.that the Mineral resource storage management of spatial data. Along with the development of the spatial database technology, the spatial data model has been from the beginning of CAD data model, after the Coverage model of the latest and the third generation Geodatabase data model. The Geodatabase data model is a completely based on object-relational data model. Geodatabase data model to achieve the effective integration and management of spatial and attribute data. Today,It is the important developing direction of GIS.I used the Geodatabase data model to create a region of space database of mineral resources in this paper. First of all I discusse the current research situation of the spatial database, It is proposed to establish the region of the space database of mineral resources the ideas and methods by the relevant use Geodatabase space data model. Then with the help of ArcCatalog to create the database model of mineral resources management,I build a spatial database of mineral resources for pu ’er city, it have the spatial data, attribute data and the raster data.it let us can management the spatial data, attribute data and the raster data more scientifically and effectively.In the study, the main results were as follows:1、Base on the Geodatabase space data modle, I set up a spatial database of mineral resources for pu’er city by the ArcCatalog.2、I set up the economic statistics database for the special mineral resources, It can be a data support for economic statistical analysis of the mineral resources.3、Reference related metadata standard of the industry, I set up the metadata database for mineral resources of the the pu’er city.4、Using ArcGIS platform, with ArcObjects components library, ArcSDE and Oraclellg database, using C#and COM component technology to design and develop the region of mineral resources management system for pu’er city.
