Chishui Alsophila Nature Reserve of Guizhou Province possesses high mountains with steep slope and deep ditch, rugged terrain of occlusion, mild and humid climate and richness in biological diversity. By means of literature review, field investigation and visiting residents,12fish species which belong to12genuses,5families and2orders with majority of cyprinids were found during this investigation. Furthermore,23amphibians species which belong to13genuses,6families in Order Anura with majority of frogs;35reptile species which belong to26genuses,8families and2orders with majority of squamate;182bird species which belong to115genuses,48families and17orders with68.51%of passeriform birds;60mammal species which belong to45genuses,21families and8order with26.67%rodents and28.33%from Order Carnivora were also found during investigation. We put forward reasonable proposals for the management and development of Reserve according to the results of our investigation.
