Landslide is one of the main safety problems in the production of strip mine. Accurate prediction the stability of slope is one of the important measure to ensure mine safety. It can be an effective prediction of landslides by establishing a multi-factor, three-dimensional prediction model to obtain dynamic information slope deformation. This article takes the Xiaolongtan buzhaoba open pit engineering practice as an example, based on3D visualization of GIS model of slope, the three-dimensional landslide prediction model was established, at the same time, it slao made landslide prediction of the northwest slope. The main research contents are as follows:1、Based on the method of slip field theory to determine the dangerous sliding surface of slope, the limit equilibrium method is applied to analyze the stability of northwest slope. The calculation results show that the slope is in a state of the critical slip, the greater danger.2、Based on SketchUp software and ArcGIS software, this paper established three-dimensional solid model of the Buzhao dem open pit which laid the foundation for a three-dimensional visibility. ArcGIS Spatial Analyst module with three open pit slope were extracted from the slope, aspect, slope shape, slope length and terrain undulation and its analysis.3、ARM A model is established based on the principle of minimal residual variance, and made prediction of the development trend of the northwest slope deformation at the same time. The results show that the deformation of open pit slope mainly in the northwest. There are security risks and we should strengthen supervision to prevent the occurrence of unexpected events.4、This paper established a monitoring attribute database in GIS which the inverse distance interpolation method is adopted to monitoring data interpolationa. It also established the research areas’surface deformation model at different times with GIS platform system, which visually displayed slope deformation characteristics and developing trend in the future. It provides reference for the decision makers, and lay a foundation for the subsequent management work.
