With the rapid development of economic globalization, linear rolling guide enterprises need to combine information technology and manufacturing technology together to ensure enterprise’s steady development. Research topic in this article is in such a context, as the sub-topic of country’s major scientific and technological project, the design method of linear rolling guide’s rapid development platform is studied, and the simulation analysis method of linear rolling guide is presented to promote the application of CAE in guide enterprises.Firstly, combined with the reality in linear rolling guide enterprises, the demand analysis of linear rolling guide’s rapid development platform is launched from two aspects of user and technology. On this basis, the overall framework of the rapid development platform is designed, the functions and relationships of each module are analyzed, and the technical solution and programming standard are established. Furthermore, the UML class diagram model of product parameter management module is established, the database design is completed, the parameter management feature is implemented.Secondly, for the demand of parameter modeling, the method based on Open CASCADE is researched, the parametric model of linear rolling guide is established, and the process from creating drafts to generating entities is detailed described. Conversion interfaces of two dimension graphic format is researched, the conversion from three dimensional model to two dimension graphic is realized by using hidden line removing method. For the demand of model visualization, the method of creating geometry in OpenSceneGraph is studied, the method of converting Open CASCADE model and generating normal array are presented.Moreover, the selection method of linear rolling guide is researched, the process of calculating static safety factor and rating life is introduced. Mechanical models under different configurations are established, mechanical conditions of linear rolling guide are analyzed, and the formulas of calculating loads are given. The automatic selection of linear rolling guide is realized, and a specific selection process is given as an example.Finally, a finite element model of linear rolling guide is established in Ansys Workbench, the method of setting contacts and dividing hexahedral meshes is presented. Furthermore, the method of static structural analysis and harmonic response analysis on double-circular-arc linear rolling guide is researched.
