The effective recovery of fine wolframite in the tungsten fine clay through the flotation method is a challenge for the flotation of the tungsten fine clay. A lot of scholar has researched the flotation separation, but differences of the kinetics between the different minerals and the same minerals in the process of flotation have been overlooked until recently. The purpose of the paper is to analyze and study the kinetics characteristics of flotation of wolframite and fluorite, calcite and quartz, meanwhile through the use of differences of the kinetics and the floatability of minerals, study on asynchronous flotation technology of tungsten fine clay and artificial mixed mineral is carried out, combined with the theory of flotation kinetics.The effects of pH, dosage of flotation reagents, concentration of pulp, rotate speed of flotation machine on flotation kinetics of wolframite and fluorite, calcite and quartz have been researched, the kinetics models of pure wolframite and fluorite, calcite have been fitted. The results of research of pure ore have been verified by the study on asynchronous flotation technology of tungsten fine clay and artificial mixed mineral.According to the research on flotation kinetics of wolframite and fluorite, calcite and quartz, flotation rate constant of the pure ore can be arrayed as:kw>kf->kc>kq in the best flotation condition. In the process of pure ore flotation, wolframite and fluorite, calcite and quartz recovery data can be fitted to kinetics models one by one:Through the study on asynchronous flotation technology of artificial mixed mineral, results show that the average grade of wolframite concentrate is higher than that of conventional synchronous flotation, the flotation kinetics model parameter k is also the largest, at the same time can still maintain a higher recovery rate.Through separating wolframite of different flotation rates in tungsten fine clay and creating best flotation process conditions for wolframite that own different flotation characteristics for different pH of pulp, asynchronous flotation experiment of tungsten fine clay has received a better beneficiation indicator than conventional synchronous flotation,asynchronous flotation technology to achieve the effective recovery of fine wolframite.
