For the rapid flotation process it is main purpose that the coarser particle or already monomer dissociation and useful mineral will be collected with a priority and the recovery will be improved by adding efficient collector. The technology has been proven in production practice, but for less theory research about rapid flotation are not much.In this paper, by studying kinetics equation analysis the mechanism of collectors used in the process of fast flotation and study the other influence factors to the rapid flotation.Thus mechanism of rapid flotation technology will be explained.At first, in the tests about the collector performance for single mineral flotation results show that effective flotation for copyrite and pyrite are seen by using anthate and Z-200, but choice is worse.For the BK301 as collector choice is better but have worse flotation of copyrite. Adding the BXF as the collector can effectively recycle cooper pyrite and pyrite and recovery up to above 98%,but it is about 70% for pyrite.Thus compared with xanthate, Z-200, BK301, the selectivity of BXF is best.In this paper, the effect of the pulp pH,kind and amount of collector, the rotate speed of the machine, flotation pulp density and particle size on the ultimate recovery rate of cooper pyrite and pyrite were studied.Results showed that under the different slurry pH RI defined by the biggest recovery have little change.However, it affects the speed of cooper pyrite and pyrits flotation. Study found that collector dosage increase, RI is increased. With the maximum dosage, RI also reach the maximum. By comparing the flotation rate constant under the optimum condition for the four kinds system of collectors it was found that cooper pyrite floating with the fastest rate and pyrite flotation is relatively slow under the BXF. Studied the flotation machine speed flotation, flotation pulp density and particle size effect on flotation of chalcopyrite and pyrite dynamics asymptote. The results indicate that the they does not affect the size of the ultimate recovery rate RI, but change all parameters of the flotation dynamics asymptote.Rapid flotation separation test for artificial mixed mineral results showed that for the flotation graded with 0.1 to 0.074mm Cu grade is 21.00%, recovery rate is as high as 97.46%.Kinetics asymptote results show that for chalcopyrite flotation rate coefficient K is 4.64 and K is 1.52 for pyrite. It is showed that in the best conditions flotation rapid of chalcopyrite and pyrite differences increased is the main factors of chalcopyrite flotation faster. It is summarized that increasing flotation concentration and improving impeller speed of the flotator for the coarser mineral flotation test cause the increase of the dynamical difference of chalcopyrite and pyrite, the realization of the flotation separation of chalcopyrite and pyrite rapidly provides a kinetic basis.
