Thiourea derivatives have good biological activitives in antibacterial,antiviral,and regulating plant growth, and are also important organic synthesis intermediates, Besides, this synthetic route has advantages of simple reaction steps and high yield. That is why thiourea compound is in great value.In this paper, three series in total of ten thiourea compounds were synthesised by using phase transfer catalysis. Then single crystals of one compound and three metal complexes were firstly cultivated by slowly evaporating at r.t. Four single crystals were characterized by X-ray single crystal diffractometer. we collected micro-structure data and analyzed the data. The specific heat capacity of the ten thiourea ligands was determined by using continuous Cp mode in Micro-DSC III. The curve of Cp was fitted out in range of10to80℃. And the enthalpy, entropy and Gibbs free energy change of ten compounds, were figured out under thermodynamic relationship from283.1K to353.2K. The thermal decomposition behavior of the complexes under a non-isothermal condition was discussed by DSC/TG method.The geometries forms of these compounds were fully optimized with the Gaussian03W software and taking HF and B3LYP basis sets, the frontier orbital energys and natural atomic charges is tabulated.The preliminary evaluation of the biological activity of the ten kinds of ligands was evauated by the petri dish culture method on dicotyledons mung bean plant. And did the comparion with heteroauxin. Experimental data showed that the ten compounds promote some activities of plant growth regulators.
