Through the fabric of the area has been well drilled formations rock mechanics, stress, formation pressure and reservoir analysis of geological characteristics, and further deepen the understanding on the formation properties, which is preferable to carry out the drilling fluid system, matching rock breaking technology and efficient reservoir protection technology research and application of research results to meet the area safe, high quality drilling and completion needs to achieve a reservoir drilling speed and protection goals. The study jade northern regions developed further exploration and development to provide more basic data, a very important reference value.In this paper, the content of studies completed and the results obtained are:(1) GMI stress through modeling techniques to study the formation of the stratum three northern regions jade pressure profile to guide the drilling the area reasonably well structure design.(2) Jade Paleozoic strata in northern high compressive strength, drilling is poor.
