As an important processes of heavy and medium plate manufacturing line,straighten have a tremendously influence on heavy and medium plate’s quality.Therefore, straightener, the device achieved the effect, its workingcharacteristics is extremely important. From the view of mechanical vibration,this paper through discussing vibration performance of all kinds of straightenerroll system among development process, gives a discussion on the issues that:during heavy and medium plate production, straightener frequently came acrossbreakdown such as straightening rolls rupture, bearings of straightening rollerdisintegration, universal spindle breakage, analyzes and solves the theory ofstraightener roll system, analyzes the modal simulation, researches the detectiontechnology of operation state, and analyzes the influence of each roller of rollsystem vibration to straightener work condition and straighten. Through thestudy of simulation, this paper proofs the integral advantage of stagger rollsystem, and provides the method of analyzing the reason of roll system failure.On the basis of domestic and foreign straighter roll system’s developmentand research status of heavy and medium plate manufacturing line,this paperintroduces the kinds of straightener roll system which appears amongdevelopment process emphatically, unites the phenomenon that heavy andmedium straighter fault not caused by material defects, uses existing vibrationtheory, straighten theory and straighter design theory, makes sure torsionalvibration and roll system bidirectional flexural vibration as the targets.Thispaper analyzes the traditional torsional vibration characteristic, and puts forwardthe torsion test’s methods and designs the corresponding test system.This paper uses the method of Euler-Bernoulli and Timoshenko, writes outthe roll system’s vibration equations, analyzes the free vibration and forcedvibration respectively, obtains the natural frequency of roll system free vibrationequation, gains the particular solution under the combination of the test system’sexpected results and the forced vibration equations, and gets the motion states ofworking rolls at any time and in any position. Finally, taking3800mm thick straightener which was used in a heavy andmedium plate factory as objects, based on its physical parameter, mechanicalparameters were solved. Using these parameters and process simulation, eachtype roll system every order modal and amplitude were acquired. By analysis ofthe outcome of the simulation, each type roller system’s vibration intensity aswell as the influence of vibration to straighten effort and roller’s property wasintuitively displayed. All in all, it came to conclusion that: the vibration of theroller system is really existed and its intensity is strongly enough to influencethe precision of straighten; stagger roll system have a better combinationproperty then others; straightener roller rupture is correlation with vibrationmodal.
