Theφ108 three-roll tube mill unit of Hengyang Steel Tube (Group) Co. Ltd. is the first set of three-roll tube mill unit of our country. So it has important practical significance to reform theφ108 three-roll tube mill unit technologically for the production of the high precision hot rolled medium wall seamless steel tube which is urgent presently in our country. Based on the understanding of the domestic and foreign production situation as well as the advanced production units at present, this paper has made an all-round analysis of the main problems of theφ108 unit in current processing. In addition, the cover on-off system of three-roll tube mill, the balanced oil cylinder system of its roller, the quick-opening oil cylinder system and the problem of oil leak were also analysed in the paper. At the same time, the framework stiffness of the six-roll straightener and straightener roll shaft were modified. After technological reformations, the annual production capacity has arrived at 10,000 tons and the product specification has expanded toφ51-133×8-28mm. And the quality of steel tube has also been gained a great improvement. The whole accoutrement of the unit has reached the leading level in domestic as well as the rolling technology. Moreover, the effect of the material and the deterioration processing of the straightener rolls on the wear-resisting property of the roll surface and the service life were also studied. The results show that: through the Re-Mg-Ti compound modification to the surface of straightener rolls, the high-speed steel matrix could be refined and the heat fatigue resistance and the high-temperature abrasive resistance was enhanced obviously. Both of the dynamic ductility and the wear-resisting property did enhance above one time. |
