With the increasing usage of Tris (2,3-dibromopropyl) Isocyanurate (TBC), it had attracted more and more attention for its adverse effects on the environment and human health at home and abroad. However, the data about TBC application status, pollution, risk assessment is still desperate shortage. Therefore, toxin of Tris (2,3-dibromopropyl) Isocyanurate on Nannochloropsis sp. had been studied in this research. In order to study the effect of different concentration of TBC on Nannochloropsis sp., growth rate, inhibition rate, chlorophyll concentration, photosynthetic activity and the expression level of photosynthetic genes (psaA, psbC) were chosen as experimental parameters. The important conclusions are as follow:Ⅰ. The cell density of Nannochloropsis sp. was decreased with increasing TBC concentration. There exist an obvious dose-effect relationship between the cell density and TBC concentration.Ⅱ. The chlorophyll concentration of Nannochloropsis sp. was changed after TBC exposure. The chlorophyll concentration in control group was higher than three treatment groups. And within a certain range of time, the higher the TBC concentration, the more chlorophyll concentration decreased significantly.Ⅲ. The photosynthetic activity of Nannochloropsis sp. was shown an overall decreasing trend after TBC exposure. In each experimental time, the photosynthetic activity in treatment groups was lower than the control group. And the higher the TBC concentration, the more photosynthetic activity decreased significantly in the same experimental time.Ⅳ. TBC had effect on the expression level of the photosynthetic genes (psaA, psbC), and the higher the TBC concentration, the more the expression level of psaA and psbC down regulated obviously. What’s more, the expression level of psaA and psbC in treatment groups was lower than control group.Ⅴ. The analytical method established by the united use of cloud point extraction and high-performance liquid chromatography separation can determine the phytoestrogens (genistein(GEN) and daidzein(DAI)). The developed method showed good performance with enrichment factors of80,144for GEN and DAI, respectively, and detection limits of3.77ng/mL for GEN and2.23ng/mL for DAI in30mL water sample under the optimum conditions. Besides, the recoveries for GEN and DAI all above91%and RSD for GEN and DAI is7.41%and7.87%, respectively.
