At the same time, the paper studied the social agingtrend and the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly.What’s more, the paper gave a comparative study on the traditional home,facilities and community pension mode, pointed out their insufficient. Finally onthe basis of the demand of the elderly psychological and physiological realitydemand, the paper put forward the concept of the embedded residential mode,and the specific design, including the design principles and improvement. Thispaper can provide certain theoretical guidance for the old residential design.
