Smart meters is an important component parts of the smart grid, It plays an important role in Smart Grid for the electric and management. The paper analyzed the situation and development trend of the development of the energy meters, Energy metering and signal processing theory are analyzed and discussed, then analyzed and researched on wireless sensor network consisting of automatic meters reading system. On this basis, smart meters on the market today can not be based on the power of information to make the appropriate changes, for example, to control electricity consumption or feedback some other appropriate action, so proposed design with control functions smart meters, which can be applied to not only become more sophisticated in the future smart appliances, but also meet the requirements of the future of green energy. The main work includes as follows:1^Designed a smart meter design with feedback control function which can be seamlessly connected with smart appliances and networking systems, each region can be divided into regional control and monitoring of electricity consumption, and change this area of electricity. This design is a single-phase electronic energy meter acquisition module based on2.4GHz wireless communication technology.2^Compared and Selected a relatively new and suitable for the future development of the chip EM773. Use the ARM Cortex-MO for the central control module chip. Designed a new type of control interface communication module. This module has a feedback control function, every smart meters is seen as a sensor node, Central computer by controlling these nodes to change the control area, power consumption, real-time monitoring, automatic power-off the automatic shift function.3-. Tested module hardware performance. Used of wireless sensor network technology in the smart meter system, Networked the system in physical layer and simulated the system in application layer.
