Today, the development of our science and technology has reached a new height, with high level of automation, communication technology, intelligence and complex of equipment, etc., and the development become faster and faster. Pipeline as a new mode of transportation, which is a useful complement to other modes of transportation, on the other hand showing its advantages of environmentally friendly, high economic efficiency. The research of pipeline become hot now, at the same time, equipment monitoring and management more and more important for industry, how to keep pipeline transportation safe, reliable are the current problems we should solve.Dahongshan pipeline, which is a longest iron ore concentrate pipeline, with most complex terrain and control technology. According to the characteristics of Dahongshan pipeline, for safe, smooth, economic and environmentally friendly running, building new equipment monitoring and management information system becomes particularly important.According to the actual running Dahongshan pipeline, this paper made a lot of research for the design and composition of pipeline equipment monitoring system, based on the equipment monitoring, introduced the decision model of equipment maintenance and replacement, and eventually developed supporting and intelligent decision-making system of device monitoring maintenance and replacement. Specific work as follows:l.The analysis and display of its system design and composition of Dahongshan pipeline equipment monitoring software system, this system combines software programming, measurement technology, communication network, the applications of solids volume mathematical model in the slurry pipeline transport, can get water time and slurry time, equipment (valves^pumps) inlet outlet pressure information of slurry pipeline transport, which solved the long-troubled problem, such as unknown of pipeline state, transportation substances. In addition to conduct equipment operation monitoring, also including the integrated management of equipment, the chief of order management, inventory management, query statistics function.2.Integrated equipment monitoring with conventional equipment inventory management functions, then the introduction of classic equipment decision-making model, the targets is to make the lowest cost, downtime.3. VTI smart valve system is the subsystem part of the whole system, and it has been delivered as a commercial project; in the last chapter, made presentation and demonstration for the complete equipment (valves, pumps) monitoring maintenance and replacement decision-making system, and the actual use in Dahongshan pipeline company achieved good results.In the design of the entire system, this paper made a lot of analysis work to the software design part of monitoring system, finally, developed the pipeline transportation equipment monitoring system based on maintenance and replacement decision-making model, in order to provide decision support for equipment managers, at the same time guarantee the efficient and safe production for enterprise.
