The tensile strength of concrete is much lower than the compressive strength, Therefore, the temperature drop, the dam due to tensile stress exceeds the tensile strength of concrete cracks, affecting the safety of the dam. In this paper, several replacement concrete solutions to improve the tensile stress state, and to study the replacement of the relationship between the elastic modulus and stress state of the concrete.Analysis on stress analysis methods arch cantilever Method with Finite Element Method. In theory, the finite element method than the arch cantilever load method to improve and state-of-the-art, is a relatively accurate numerical methods. Many projects at home and abroad, using the finite element method analysis of dam stability, strength, and has accumulated a large number of concrete arch dam stress analysis experience.
