The needs to electrics energy is biggers and biggers in our country. It is a effectiving method to building hydroelectric power station. In numerous types of dams, engineers are interested in arch dam especially, with it special advantage.The shapes optimazation design of the arch dam is using mathematics plan methods to look for the most rational bodily form in the given topography, geologys and loading.The concretes double arch dams optimizations design mades in the paper direct aim in project application study, this is given the definite linetypes of arch dams to process optimazation design through adjusting the design variables, using the finite element method to the caculates structure of dams, realizing the model full automaticity, shorten the periodic time of optimazation design, increasing arch dam design quality.Firstly, after retrospective basal kownledge such as the finite element method, optimazations design, through analyzing and studying the arch dam body form and stress features, accessing parameter in optimazation design modle; then using ANSYS10.0 as platform, working out command stream through APDL, realizings the readin of parameters and the automatics setting-up of parameterized entitative model, after that dividing arch dam by some certain element in orders to build finite element model, using kill-element to simulate load application in active divisional pour, considering the different temperature load to arch dam and the effect and distribution of steady temperature field, analyzing the temperature load as coupling load adopted the finite element stress theory, insuring state variable and target function, using ANSYS powerful processing program processor to work out the fore-and-after cacaulation, the course of optimazation design can be automatically carried out and controlled by computer, shortening the periodic time, lightening amount of labour. This program can alleviate stress concentration effectively and the outcome is economical. Lastly, comparing the optimazation design analysis in divisional pour and full pour and some useful conclusion has gained.Accomplihing pratical arch dam optimazation design, the program can roughly caculate the body form parameter, considering constrution contion, constrution quality, part open pore etc.
