Research On Evaluation System Bus Terminal

With the urban traffic congestion problem becoming more and more serious, Government pay more attention to the public transport. They do a lot of things to support the development of it. As an integral part of the transit system, Transit hub has become the bottleneck of the development of urban public transport. So the research of it becomes more important and urgent. Currently, there are still more irrational and areas need improving in the planning and construction of many transit hub. But the indexes of the evaluation are imperfect, In such background, this paper investigates some factors that affect the normal operation of transit,and investigates the rating indicators for the transit hub. So as to provide a reference for planning,the design and improvement of public transit hub.Firstly, This article start from the definition and classification of the transit hub, and summarized the existing characteristics about the hub definition and classification, as well as the transit hub. Then, Summarized the current indexes of the evaluation of the transit hub. I proposed the evaluation index system with four different stages of the transit hub (location planning, design, construction, operation), after determine the principles and purpose of the evaluation of the public transport hub, and comprehensive indexes system of the four stages,then use the analytic hierarchy process quantified the relationship between indicators.thus I proposed a complete evaluation system. Finally, the evaluating method applied to Zhong shan Bus Terminal, so as to prove the the applicability and practicality of the set of indicators.
