First,the subject of this study is make use of major cultural factors ofthe northern dining space characteristics,that is take the northeast dietcustom culture an entry point, to elaborate formation and developmentcharacteristics of northern diet custom culture.Second, based on dietarycustom culture and design elements,use analysis and comparison methods todiscusse the application of constituent elements for the northern dining spacedesign like spatial form, color, texture, furnishings in the present. At last,toindicate that there be short of cultural heritage and undertakein the the northern dining space design,and use the actual cases to confirmethe point,and to raise the culture-oriented guideline of the northern diningspace design.In this study, on the basis of surveys and literature, from the northeast ofdietary customs and regional perspective, integrate theory with practice, inconnection with present situation of northern dining space,discuss thecharacteristic relation of northern dietary custom, components of naturalenvironment and northern dining space, to summarize the characteristics ofthe northern dining space, pointed out that only rooted in the cultural soil ofthe ethnic minority areas clearly, master of traditional knowledge and culturalconnotation, is the way to solve the sustainable development of the area dining space nationalization, it has a positive meaning for development andpromotion of northern dining space.
