Optical turntable of ship is a kind of optical and electrical equipment which is carried by seaside defense ship and used for seaside investigative monitoring in24hours. Accord the technical requirements, optical turntable mainly used many technology, such as infrared detection technology, scan&tracking technology, image stabilization technology, servo control technology, image fusion and so on. System design process of optical turntable is as follows:sub-divided according functional requirements; then design the structure of optical turntable and do structure stability analysis under the different circumstances.The structure design process of optical turntable is begin with segmentation overall structure and layout divided according to the model made by styling designer, then finish positioning connections design and pay for many attentions to finish transmission parts design. Finally, modify the dimension of mainly parts and optimization structure combined parallel design, such as, layout design, sealing design, assembly process design, manufaturing technique. So the structure design of optical turntable and the system design of optical turntable can be a unity. The innovative point of this chapter is that combined optimization design of Pro/E to solved the rotate balancing problem.Structure stability analysis under the different circumstances will prove reliability of optical turntable’s structure. Depending on different optical turntable’s work environment, we set three special environment for CAE simulation environment, first is equivalent static wind load environment, second is extreme temperature environment, third is waves random vibration environment. Then building the mechanical model with mathematics theory, such as, linear static theory, thermal stress theory, modal theory, stationary stochastic process theory, nonlinear dynamics theory, transforms into load parameter. Then using ABAQUS to simulate the actual environment, get stress and strain of structure to analyze the result whether suffice accuracy requirements. Finally, we would verify the actual monitoring performance of optical turntable of ship in monitoring test by comparing difference between images.
