A new type linkless feed system used in artillery has been researched in this paper. It uses packaged fire module as feeding unit and is based on a key pre-research project. This paper has researched the principle of mechanism motion and dynamic characteristic of the new type linkless feed system in the method of theoretical simulation analysis and experimental verification.This paper has introduced the basic theory and logic function of the linkless feed system firstly, then analyzed the motion characteristic of mechanism and the motion pose of fire module during the function period. This paper also has designed and analyzed some key component. Paper has also built the mechanism motion dynamic characteristic model by bond graph theory and virtual prototype machine through virtual prototype theory to analysis the dynamic characteristic mainly including the dynamic characteristic of reload mechanism, revolute mechanism and cam mechanism. And the paper has gained main load parameters about ram arm, stopping board, rotating arc tooth and so on. This paper has used finite element method to analysis the rigidity and intensity. And this paper has improved some components according that result.The principle sample machine of the new type feed system has been tested. The result of testing and paper analysis is same. And the result of paper has some reference value for designing and analyzing of the new type feed system.
