In recent years, low-intensity wars, national disputes or regional conflicts continue to occur. The individual rocket weapons which are suitable for urban, mountain and special operations develop rapidly. So, the individual rocket airburst fuze were researched.The working process, design requirements and environmental information of individual rocket were analyzed. The explosive sequence, explosion institutions, insurance agencies and burst control strategy were designed for fuze. The resistance parts of fuze mechanisms were calculated, and the specific parameters of springs were got.Using theoretical analysis method, the dynamic equations of turbine insurance institution were established. Using Fluent software, the surface pressure distribution, rotating torque and resistance in different number of fuse turbine blades were researched. The higher the speed of the projectile was, the greater the range of turbine surface pressure was. When the number of blades was8,10,12, the turbine resistance was essentially same, but the rotating torque increased. When the number of blades was12,14,16, the turbine resistance increased, but the rotating torque decreased. Therefore, selecting the number of the turbine blades is12.The compositions and principles of individual rocket autonomous velocimetry system have been studied. Using MAXWELL, the feasibility of autonomous velocimetry system was verified. The hardware and software of main controller circuit, power circuit, velocimetry circuit and ignition circuit have been designed.Through tests, the velocimetry error is less than3%, burst point spread is-3.3m to+2.8m. Compared with no velocimetry, the burst point spread significantly reduced, and the burst point accuracy has been improved. The results of the study have a reference value for the individual rocket airburst fuze’s development.
