The run of Harbin-Dalian High-speed rail indicate that first high-speed rail cameto service for the cold area of the world. The security of the cold area high-speed railattract everyone attention, Because of the cold area high-speed rail face moreuncertainty of safety factor, which makes the study on the safety monitoring of the coldarea high-speed rail track is imminent.Currently, the safety monitoring system of high-speed rail track mainly monitorsthe geometric condition of the track. However, this technology only functions atnight-time when there is no train passing on track; it can’t meet the requirement ofhigh-speed rail in real-time monitoring. FBG sensor is characterized by the merits ofanti-electromagnetic interference (EMI), wide range of working temperature, smallsize, easy installation, anti-corrosion and resistance to moisture. It is one of the mosteffective methods to monitor cold-area high-speed rail.According to the features of cold-area high-speed rail, the paper adopts themethod of multi-parameter measurement to High-speed rail infrastructure by using railstrain sensor, railway displacement sensor and static level based on fiber Bragg grating(FBG). The paper probes into testing methods of coordination deformation betweenhigh-speed rail track and FBG sensor by converting the rail thermo stresses into thevariation of FBG center wavelength. In this way, the thermal expansion deformationmonitoring of the rail is thus achieved. The paper describes in detail the basic principleof fiber Bragg grating strain sensor and displacement sensor and the basic principle ofthe static level. Suitable for cold area of high-speed rail track safety monitoring orbitthermal expansion stress, high-speed railway foundation settlement and high-speed railtrack displacement monitoring program. Designed track strain sensor, the trackdisplacement sensor and the static water level sensor. By using of LabVIEW writes sensor information collection procedures, and complete wavelength sampling, datastorage and waveform display. High-speed rail foundation monitoring of largetemperature difference between the cold area through wireless terminal for remotetransmission.The integrated FBG WDM multi-parameter sensor network will provide strongtechnical support for the safety of high-speed rail track infrastructure’s construction incold area.
