With the number of car increasing more and more fast, the problem of the car theft is increasingly abroad. The traditional means of anti-theft Precautions have been unable to meet the needs of the anti-theft market now. In China, lots of the anti-theft technologies are EAS and the network anti-theft system have not perfecting function. So we need a new-style of embedded vehicle anti-theft system based on GPS/GPRS. This paper has designed it.The reliability of this anti-theft system was very high, and it has highly security. Location and the remote data transmission were completed by using of GPS/GPRS technology to. When the car-owner leaves the car, he can use SMS Commands or infrared remote technology to set up the defence for the car. The sensor module can sense vehicle’s status, the system can handle detected unusual situations, and then it will inform related departments and driver. In addition, the system adds RFID to identify the owner identity. If the car is stolen, the owner can locate the car’s position, and use the SMS commands to control the car. In this paper, the system hardware circuit is designed, and the software design method is introduced, designs Labview interface. The system overcomes traditional vehicle anti-theft system’s disadvantage, make the anti-theft system more intelligent.The tests showed that the system met all of the requirements. All of the modules run fine. The system was stable in actual operation, reliable and safe.
