The Research And Design Of Vehicle GPRS Anti-theft And Alarm System

With the development of technology and the improvement of living standards, vehicle has increasingly become one of people's necessities. And the research of vehicle anti-theft system becomes more and more hot. Although the technique of vehicle anti-theft and alarm has been changing with each passing day because of the improvement of technology, there are still some disadvantages in current vehicle guard products such as high false alarm rate, high price, sound and light pollution, shortness of effective alarm distance, and so on.In order to meet this situation, a new kind of vehicle anti-theft and alarm system using mobile network's GPRS function is introduced in this paper. First, this paper discusses and analyzes current vehicle guard products in and abroad, and point out the trend of vehicle anti-theft system. Then vehicle GPRS anti-theft and alarm system is introduced in this paper based on analysis of CAN-Bus and GPRS in detail.The system employs existing alarm system to get alarm information by communicating with CAN bus, which not only makes use of resources effectively but also reduces the system cost. And the system sends vehicle picture information to the user's cell phone through the mobile wireless network, which enlarge the network covered area and improve the reliability. In order to reduce cost and improve scalability, the system is developed in module. And the system consists of five parts:S3C2440A central-controller module, CMOS camera module, GPRS module and CAN-Bus module.The subject has finished hardware and software design, the hardware design includes: CPU module, system power module, CAN-Bus module, LCD interface circuit and CMOS camera interface circuit. And the software design includes:selection of operating system, diver programs and application programs.
