In the cold chain logistics system, the transport links is the key between production and sales,especially for cold meat products. In the circulation process temperature and cycle control, coldchain logistics system is provided with strict requirements, otherwise will easily lead to impropercontrol of microbial growth, resulting in chilled meat spoilage, to pose a potential threat to publichealth.So, the research on meat cold chain logistics’ information collection and monitoringtechniques and the development of remote monitoring systems, is important to guarantee thequality of meat.The paper is based on the status review of cold chain logistics technology analysis andrelated key technology research.According to the demand for meat cold chain logistics, the paperis designed to build a chain logistics vehicle monitoring system architecture, focusing on thevehicle GPS monitoring system design, function design and process design. The paper made thedesign of embedded technology, GPS positioning technology, GPRS wireless communicationtechnology and RFID radio frequency identification technology to achieve vehicle location andinformation collection and item identificationOn this basis, the paper carried on ARM-based vehicle monitoring system hardware design,including the design of the vehicle monitoring system, GPS positioning module, interface circuitRFID radio frequency identification module and GPRS wireless data transmission module.Simultaneously, the paper developed the SD card external memory and memory expansion, andcompleted the design of vehicle monitoring system hardware development.Based on the design and development of the hardware, this paper design the software of GPSinformation monitoring, radio frequency integrated RFID reader and GPRS wireless data networkdata transmission and other applications. Through transplanting uC/OS-Ⅱ operating systemcompleted the mission requirements, achieved the purpose of vehicle monitoring.After completion of the vehicle monitoring system hardware and software design, the papermade a test for GPS information collection, RFID reader and GPRS wireless transmission ofinformation other functions are verified, the results show that the developed system can realize thebasic system design goals.
