The investigation of engineering experience and seismic hazard indicate that increasing stirrup and improving the structure form is one of the most simple, economic and effective measures to improve the seismic performance of structures. S stirrup can improve the efficiency of construction due to Simple structure and convenient installation, the existing test of S stirrup can Constraints longitudinal reinforcement and concrete, improving the requirement of seismic fortification standard, Because of the limitations of the test process; it is difficult to track the destruction of the whole process of structures. As one of the important methods of structure analysis and tools Nonlinear finite element method can force the simulation calculation of the whole process of performance of structure componentCOM3D is three dimensional finite element analyses software which aimed at reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete; it can be well for three dimensional finite element analyses of reinforced concrete structures. The study analyzes S stirrup use COM3D and includes:1. Establish three-dimension finite element modeling of stirrup constrained column, including well glyph tied Colum model and S-Clip tied column model. Analysis the ultimate axial compression load value and load-deformation curve, and at the same time, compare the limit load of the simulation value with the test results, to verify the rationality and validity of the model.2. Analyzes the influence of different parameters to S-Clip stirrup column, including strength grade of concrete, the ratio of longitudinal reinforcement, stirrup reinforcement ratio, and to further illustrate the using feasibility of the S-Clip stirrup.3. Establish three-dimension finite element modeling of square stirrup constrained column. According to the current existing hooping mechanism, try to verify the feasibility of this kind of new form in modeling analysis. Apply to well glyph tied columns model and S-Clip tied column model. Based on the unit stress strain relations, Analysis the constraint mechanism of the well glyph tied columns model and S-Clip tied column model from the cross section.
