AC permanent magnet synchronous linear motor has excellent transmissioncharacters such as high acceleration, high speed and high bandwidth, whichmakes it has great potential applications in CNC machine tools and otherhigh-end equipment manufacturing. Dynamic accuracy and operation stabilityare the important characters of motion actuator, however, the cogging force,under damping and other inherent problems of high-speed direct drive cause itsuffering from disturbance, which has very detrimental effect in dynamicprecision and stability. The inherent problems restrict the utilization of the directdrive. This paper aims to carry out high-speed high-precision servo controltechnology research to improve the dynamic performance of the linear motor tomake meaningful exploration to promote application of linear motors.Firstly, the research and application states of linear motor home and abroadare studied to summarize the key problems of high precision motion control ofAC permanent magnet synchronous linear motor servo system. AC permanentmagnet synchronous linear motor mathematical model was deduced anddesigned PID controller of AC servo system. Analysised the servo controlleradvantages and disadvantages of negative feedback control method, carried outthe research of feed forward compensation algorithms and trajectory planningmethod.Secondly, according to the AC servo system control structure, the hardwareand software of AC permanent magnet synchronous linear motor servo driverare developed.Finally, the modeling method of AC servo motor based on data is studied.The pseudo-random signal is taken as the exciting signal in the identificationexperiment of linear motor. In order to get the data of the linear motor and theAC servo driver developed in this work, a frequency identification test rig isdesigned with DAQ (PXI-6251,NI) and AC servo driver. When the data of thetested system are processed, the AC permanent magnet synchronous linearmotor with velocity open loop mathematical model is modeled. In this study, a AC servo driver of PMLSM is developed to establish afrequency response test rig of linear motor with signal acquisition card. Themathematical model of the linear motor is modeled based on the identificationdata tested in the rig. The proposed modeling method provides a accurate modelof linear motor for controller design, which could reveal the comprehensivedynamic characters of the linear motor. The work of this paper has broadapplying prospects which supplies the technical foundation of the high speedhigh precision motion control of linear motor.
