At present, forklift’s power performance is enough to satisfy the demand ofreplace people manual labor. In the future, forklift as walking machinery whichconsumes fossil energy, put energy saving as one of the key direction for itstechnical transformation and innovation.This paper will set forklift energy conservation as the goal, by means ofcomputer simulation technology, considers two factors: gravitational potentialenergy of the working system of forklift recovery and reuse and braking energyof the walking system of forklift recovery and reuse to study methods to reducethe energy consumption of the forklift.Firstly, this paper use hydraulic accumulator to construct gravitationalpotential energy recovery and reuse system for forklift working system anddescribe its structure and working principle; For the system operationcharacteristics, this paper design oil pressure control to balance the maximumpotential energy recovery and will not affect the normal goods fork down; Thispaper research selection criteria of the system main components. Preliminaryselection of the parameters of accumulator is also calculated; Buildingsimulation model of the main component of the system in the simulationsoftware SimulationX.Secondly, taking the hydrostatic transmission forklift walking system asthe foundation to construct braking energy recovery and reuse for thehydrostatic transmission forklift walking system. Using hydraulic accumulatorto recovery the energy which is often converted into heat energy by brakingsystem and describing its structure and working principle; Building numericalmodel of the engine which is based on bench test data in software SimulationX.This paper build the hydrostatic transmission system model, the bodymechanical model and braking energy recovery module model.Finally, building the system simulation model of gravitational potentialenergy recovering and reusing for forklift working system in SimulationX software to simulate the system operation process in three working condition.This paper analysis the operation of lifting hydraulic cylinder, energy recovery,releasing of the hydraulic accumulator and changing of the power whichexternal input pump, calculating the energy consumption data comparison ofnon energy saving and energy-saving forklift in the same operation. Buildingthe system simulation model of braking energy recovery and reuse for thehydrostatic transmission forklift walking system to simulate the systemoperation process in three working condition, analysis the driving speed anddisplacement of forklift, energy recovery, release of the hydraulic accumulator,the engine power output and fuel consumption etc. This paper analysis thesystem of regenerative braking distance whether meet the design requirementsof forklift brake system and calculate fuel consumption comparison data of theforklift in the three working conditions of engine single drive acceleration andanalysis energy-saving acceleration. This research has certain reference valuefor the design of energy-saving forklift.
