Panzhihua Construction Of Flue-cured Tobacco And The Effectiveness Of Pest And Disease Forecasting Systems And Recommendations For Improvement

Tobacco production has become an important and industry tobacco production areas and it’s widely distributed in China, one of the most widely planted is flue-cured tobacco.Panzhihua city,which is located in southwest of Sichuan, is richly endowed by nature conditions and has been stated as one of the4key development areas of high grade flue-cured tobacco by Tobacco Monopoly Bureau. The economic crops and grain crops develop collaboratively of Panzhihua and the insecurity of supply and demand of market environment cause the cultivataed land of flue-cured tobacco is very limited. The rotation planting proportion is very small, mostly by continuous cropping patterns in Panzhihua flue-cured tobacco cultivating.But the influence of continuous cropping obstacle cause the increasing of tobacco soil-borne pests and disease of roots occurrence.That has become the most important hidden danger and restricting factor of modern tobacco agriculture lasting healthy progress and cause large economic loss to farmers in Panzhihua.So,the forecasting work of flue-cured tobacco diseases and insect pests is very important for Panzhihua.This article review domestic and foreign diseases and pests occurrence and prevention under pests forecasting work development environment in china, and state the concept of pests diseases. In the light of Panzhihua pests forecasting system established soon, investigating and analyzing the monitoring system, personnel status, working conditions and the work carried out situation on three years,then find out existed problem,and put forward related suggestion abouthow to perfect the forecasting system:(1) Fured-tobacco diseases and insect pests prevention on three years of Panzhihua city results respectively is:the total occurrence area of plant diseases and insect pests is406000acres, loss rate is1.53%,and yield lose772700tam in2009; the total occurrence area of plant diseases and insect pests is398000acres, loss rate is1.50%and yield lose757500tam; the total occurrence area of plant diseases and insect pests is387500acres, loss rate is1.43%and yield lose725100tam.That suggestthe occurrence area, loss rate and yield of fured-tobacco diseases and insect pests have decrease. The occurrence area is the largest of underground pests, tobacco aphid and prodenia litura; virus diseases, pests and Spodoptera litura cause the most serious losses to yield,which seriously hindered the smooth growth of tobacco leaf and tobacco production and achieving of high yield and high quality.(2) It exists two aspects question,and respectively are team construction and technology on Panzhihua tobacco diseases and insect pests forecasting system.They respectively are as following:the quality of personnel needs to be improved, the staff stability needs to be enhanced. Pest system investigation work is also not comprehensive enough, census work start lately, Pest forecasting work has not been very useful to guide the production practice and Facilities and equipment need to be perfect.(3) This article mainly talking about how to strengthensystem, develop high-quality team,investment of science and technology, establish information system and perfect the mechanism, enhancedepartment cooperation.Then put forward suggestions and countermeasures for Panzhihua tobacco diseases and insect pests forecasting system from those three aspects,so that use existing resources reasonablely, develop team potential, improve the forecasting effect ultimately.
