Irritable bowel syndrome is a common clinical disease, its morbidity characteristic to break out repeatedly, or intermittent break out repeatedly, the chronic abdominal distension, vector, abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, and through inspection without specific biochemical or histologic abnormalities. Its pathogenesis is not exact, It is considered related to the psychological change of mood disorders, intestinal sensitivity, inflammation and infection, the endocrine disorder, abnormal brain gut axis and so on. Acupuncture and moxibustion have the function of the multiple targets for treatment, can regulate the levels of Central material purpose of treatment, and it has a small side effects, economic, convenient, etc. We select Tianshu Point and Zusanli Point to treat IBS model rat by Electric Acupuncturef, in order to observe the change of splanchnic sensitivity, changed value of NPY and PGE2in the colon, and to discuss the possible mechanisms of acupuncture in the treatment of IBS.Objective:To observe effects of EA Tianshu Point, Zusanli Point on IBS rat models’splanchnic sensitivity, changed value of NPY and PGE2in colon of the IBS rat models’s, and to discuss parts of the mechanism of IBS’s acu-puncture treatment.Methods:To set WISTAR young rats as the object of the study and to establish models of irritable bowel syndrome rats. The experiment included4randomized group:normal group, model group, Tianshu group and Zusanli group(They are generally referred to as the treatment group). The Tianshu group and Zusanli group were started to be bounded and given EA in the6th week, once in two days,a total of seven times. EA parameters:the density wave, Curative for dilatational wave, for2/100hz alternating frequency, intensity of0.1-0.1mA, was quivering with skin muscle. Model group was bounded but not given EA, the normal group was done nothing. After the treatment, the rats are accept the visceral sensitivity evaluation with the abdominal retraction reflection(AWR), to observe the change of splanchnic sensitivity, after that, take colon tissues. Check the level of NPY. PGE2in rat’s colon tissue by Enzyme immunoassay method.Results:1. The estimate of the visceral sensitivity:compared with the normal group, the value of the model group rats’belly raising and back hunch-up reduced (P<0.01). compared with the model group, the treatment group rat’s belly raising and back hunch-up rose (P<0.01).2.(1)The changed value of NPY in colon tissue:compared with the normal group, the value of model group rats’NPY in colon tissue reduced, but, there’s no difference by statistics processing (P>0.05). compared with the model group, the Tianshu group rats’NPY in colon tissue rose, but, it’s no difference by statistics processing (P>0.05).(2) The changed value of PGE2in colon tissue:compared with the normal group, the value of model group rats’PGE2in colon tissue reduced, but, there’s no difference by statistics processing (P>0.05). compared with the model group, the Tianshu group rats’PGE2in colon tissue reduced, but, it’s no difference by statistics processing(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. NMS and Baby mice acetic acid enema method established a IBS rat model, using the threshold change of belly raising and back hunch-up to evaluate visceral sensitivity.2. The IBS model rat’s visceral sensitivity rose. EA on Tianshu point and Zusanli point can obviously improve the IBS model rat’s belly raising and back hunch-up threshold, reduce IBS model rat’s visceral sensitivity.3. IBS model rat’s level of NPY in colon tissue is on the decline, EA on tianshpoint and zusanlipoint made the level of NPY in rat’s colon showed a rise trend.4. IBS model rat’s level of PGE2in colon tissue is on the decline, EA on tianshpoint and zusanlipoint made the level of PGE2in rat’s colon showed a reduce trend.
