Clinical Efficacy Of Eczema On Hydrocortisone Butyrate(damp-heat Syndrome)

Eczema is caused by many factors,with obvious effusion tendency abnormal skin inflammation. Skin lesions with polymorphism,consciously pruritus, symmetrical distribution, break out repeatedly,the equivalent of "wet sores" in traditional Chinese medicine. Acute eczema is given priority to with damp heat syndrome. Lesions often to flake or diffuse, skin lesions often have erythema, flush,papules,papulovesicles, blisters, scabby, effusion exist at the same time. Chinese medicine views eczema as disease that is commonly induced by factors, such as natural endowment weakness,irregularity in meal, modern imbalance, or overeating fat、sugar and spicy, leading to the damage of the spleen and stomach, the breakdown of transporting,internal accumulation of damp-heat, along with affection of wind evil, internal factors and external factors fight ing, wind-damp-heat evil staying in the skin. Western medicine treatment of the disease,more use of corticosteroids, although has obvious curative effect, but also exists high recurrence rate and side effects and adverse reactions obviously inadequate. So in traditional Chinese medicine external treatment to find the optimization of the treatment of the disease, has significant clinical value. Ganshi Qingdai Ointment is our hospital’s preparation, the main ingredient is indigo naturalis,Calcined calamine, talcum, sophora f lavescen, golden cypress and so on. The effect of Ganshi Qingdai Ointment is clearing liver-fire, reducing phlegm and resolving masses, dispelling wind and arresting itching. We applied Ganshi Qingdai Ointment with hydrocortisone butyrate comparing treatment of this disease, to observe the clinical curative effect.ObjectiveTo observe the clinical curative effect and security of eczema (damp-heat Syndrome) treatment by Ganshi Qingdai Ointment.MethodsRandomized, single-blind, positive-controlled, parallel group trial methods was adopted. We divided72cases of syndrome of eczema (damp-heat Syndrome) into treatment group and control group while each group had36case by random. Treatment group used Ganshi Qingdai Ointment while control group used Hydrocortisone butyrate, took twice everyday and treatment course was2weeks. Before treatment and2weeks after treatment,we observed lesions of erythema, papulovesicles, blisters, erosion, effusion,itching, target lesion area and the minor symptoms of TCM ect to evaluate the degree of improvement and adverse reactions.And4weeks after treatment we observed the recurrence rate. And before and after treatment for2weeks to do laboratory testing to assess drug safety.Results1The treatment group of per-protocol set (PPS) has36cases, and its total effective rate was91.67%. The control group of PPS has32cases and its total effective rate was87.88%. Two groups had no statistical significance in clinical comprehensive effect by statistical tests,P>0.05.2Within two way symptom score before and after the treatment are obvious drop,but there was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05).3Two way inner skin erythema, papulovesicles, blisters, erosion, effusion, itching, target lesion area and the minor symptoms of TCM ect, on the degree of ease points were s ignif icantly decreased, but no statistically significant difference between groups (P>0.05).4After a follow-up, two weeks after the drug withdrawal, two groups of cases had no recurrence.5Cases of treatment group has no adverse reaction, the control group there are3cases of adverse reactions.Two groups had no falls off phenomenon.Conclusion1The effect of Ganshi Qingdai Ointment is clearing liver-fire,reducing phlegm and resolving masses,dispel ling wind and arresting itching. Clinical is suitable for the treatment of eczema (damp-heat Syndrome); Clinical observation research proves that Ganshi Qingdai Ointment and hydrocortisone butyrate can treat eczema (damp-heat Syndrome), and clincal effect of Ganshi Qingdai Ointment as well as Hydrocortisone butyrate.2Ganshi Qingdai Ointment and hydrocortisone butyrate all has high safety, low recurrence rate ect.Ganshi Qingdai Ointment showed obvious advantages on the adverse drug reactions. Worthy of clinical popularization and application.
